:)Hi or should I say G'day,

What to say.... I live in Australia, have 2 cats (not spoiled just treated really really really well - ok spoiled! :) ) have PTSd from being attacked at work :( ................ went to a very dark place - self harmed on a few occassions when the flashbacks got too much - I'm better than I was a year ago - but still struggling on occassions and that's why I came here - that's about all I want to say for now - take care everyone. :)

Hello to Phoenix7... and everyone else. I am also from Australia (Adelaide) and have just joined the forum after discovering it a few days ago. What a relief to find something like this! I do not yet know how to Post, so am replying to new member Phoenix7 as some way to get started. My condition is Peripheral Neuropathy (or, in my case, aslo known as alcoholic neuritis). I have suffered from this for nearly 5 years - and it has been an absolute nightmare. I have had no-one to talk to about it - I have not told my family (surely they must pick-up that something is wrong??) AND doctors have been worse than useless. I have never written anything on a forum before. I have Cockatiel named Belle. A lot of the time - she is about all I have to live for.
Anyway, I would love to hear from anyone with this codition Anyone out there from Australia??

Hi Everyone,

Not very sure what to say, except hello!.. I need to check out the site to see if I can find out some helpful ideas to a couple of problems that we face.
I'll be kind o:)f looking around, if that's ok. Thanks for letting me in. By the way, I have 3 dogs, 3 cats, 2 boys and 1 husband. Don't pay attention to the order that I wrote them down. I love the humans and the 4 footed guys.:)

Wow! 3 new people, how wonderful!

Welcome blakitty, welcome Phoenix and welcome Murgy. I too live in Australia.

Murgy....I just love Adelaide. It's the city where my hubby and I honeymooned many moons ago. My daughter is looking at moving there later this year, so once she makes that move DH will have the perfect excuse to go visit again.

Welcome to NeuroTalk to all of you. It's great to have you with us.
