sugarless cookies
I stay away from adding sugar to things, but I like cookies. So I invented my own peanut butter & oatmeal cookie. I use natural peanut butter (only peanuts & salt). I melt the peanut butter in a bowl with boiling water. Then I stir in rolled oats & lots of cinnamon, enough to make about 3 cookies. Then I spoon the mixture onto a cookie sheet into separate globs & pat them down. Then I bake them for about 35 minutes at about 375% in a regular oven. I only make a few at a time because I like to eat them warm. They are delicious & very healthy, & so easy to make. :)

Sounds pretty good to me, I gave up cookies etc and feel good about that choice. I find other stuff when I need a little sweetness. Thanks.

re: sugarless cookies
Thank you so much for your response, @caroline2! I didn't know if anyone would be interested. Eating healthy is very important to me. It's the one thing I can control, & I believe nutrition plays a significant role in our entire being. I must admit I'm lacking a lot of knowledge, so I'm definitely no authority on anything. I would love it if we could share tricks for treats (ha ha) that are healthy. :)

re: sugarless cookies
By the way, you can make chocolate cookies by using unsweetened cocoa instead of cinnamon. And you can add walnuts. Have any of you tried this yet?
