A cure for insomnia

Sleep it off.

Medical advice from Groucho Marx in "Night at the Opera."

And here I thought I was going to read something that would really help me right now as I sit here at 1:55 a.m. reading this board as I try to get tired enough to go back to bed. This really was some wise words of wisdom, though. You just need to get to sleep in order to sleep it off.

Thanks, David.:Zzzz:

I could willingly strangle you after the night I had last night. sigh.. I thought when I clicked on the subject, there would be some new medical help or some of your words of wisdom. Stay out of the New Year's Champagne.:)

sounder sleep

Every time my feldenkrais worker worked on me I fell asleep, and I'm an old insomniac. She is credentialed to teach seminars in something called the Sounder sleep system, which has to do with tiny, repetitive, rocking movements before sleep.

Anyway, it really helped, so here's a link:

The Marx brothers got their start in vaudavill. They're too zany for my taste, but every one of their movies have memorable moments and really funny, if goofy, quotes.

As Groucho said, "Well, art is art, isn't it? Still, on the other hand, water is water! And east is east and west is west and if you take cranberries and stew them like applesauce they taste much more like prunes than rhubarb does. Now, uh... Now you tell me what you know."
