sure have, Just now recovering from a 2 year stint with frozen shoulder. Extremely painful. Very hard to recover from-had to be very determined. There is a notebook called The Frozen Shouder Workbook that might help you. In a nutshell, I would advise chiropractor, massage, exercises at home or in Physical Therapy and no surgery. Feel free to PM me with questions. I wish you good luck with yours. Hurts, doesn't it?

I had a shoulder injury that hurt quite a bit. Massage, ultrasound, heat and PT exercises, all done at the PT place were quite effective. Best of Luck and Best of Outcomes - billie

I have had shoulder pain since 2004. Both shoulders. I had my left shoulder replaced 2/5/09. still hurts like the blazes. No answers for you, just wanted you to know you are not alone.

There are quite a few that have had frozen shoulders over the years here - I did a forum wide search and here are the results -

I've had shoulder pain and limited movement especially on my most affected side. For me, my PD medicine helps plus the limbering action of water excercise which I do in a class of water aerobics, usually 3 times a week when I'm good.

my shoulder pain was the precursor to pd. PAin was due to rotator cuff tear and i had surgery and pt. feels a lot better than before

funny you should mention

Yes, indeed, the frozen shoulder. It was among one of my first physical symptoms. One orthopedic doctor recommended surgery, said it was two labral tears. The second opinion dx frozen shoulder. Two rounds of PT later, it was almost back to normal. Now it's acting up again. My plan is to reintroduce the magnesium twice per day (I've gotten complacent) and get some more PT. Good luck!

yes me too

Frozen shoulder 8 months before my dx was an early symptom. And 12 months of painful PT gave me full range of motion again.

This past year I noticed my elbow tightening and getting increasingly painful. It dawned on me that this was probably how the frozen shoulder had begun. So I notified my neuro & then I started doing the PT exercises & stretching & heat treatments on myself and I managed to "cure myself" over a period of 6 months.

I went back to my PT after I got my PD dx - to let him know the cause of my frozen shoulder just in case some other undiagnosed people w/pd came in with the same symptoms. The PT called me one day to say another such person w/ frozen shoulder did indeed have PD.

had 2 eisodes which preceded pd. pretty much healed on their own, had a little PT
