All I Wanted Was A Foot X-Ray
 

If you recall, before BT did it's disappearing act, I had taken a fall and broke the 2nd, 3rd and 4th metatarsal bones in my right foot. Also, when I arrived at the emergency room my blood pressure was really low 51/31. Well, that set off a million other test. Finally, on August 1st I had a heart catherzation done. They found one artery partially blocked and put in a stent.
All I wanted was an x-ray to see how bad my foot was broken. This is the first week without the cast on my foot. So far, so good.............

Believe me, that was way more attention than I needed. After all the horror stories I've heard about PWP's and emergency rooms/hospitals, I really wasn't too excited to go through all that.
I'm happy to report that both the emergency room and hospital were real good about understanding PD and my needs. My medications were given in a timely manner and the nurses went out of thier way to make me as comfortable as possible.

I guess we only hear the bad stuff about hospitals because we take good experience for granted and when we come up against things that are unpleasant the emmotion it evokes not only sticks in our craw (what is a craw anyway??)
but we can revisit it anytime through memory. Then we can live the anger all over again. Why is it we are so susceptible to the negative, and so rarely even notice how good things are? Just human nature for whatever reason. Anyway glad to hear you are mending and getting back on your feet -so to speak.:)

Yeah, I'm doing Ok now. I think I'm going to live.
I've already been warned to be careful in the chatroom. As long as there are no stairs in there I'll do fine.
