Look out your window...

there is a full harvest moon and it's gorgous! :grouphug:

I can't see the moon from my window... but I do see a very bright star...

perhaps it's a planet or the shuttle/space station... I couldn't stand up long enough to see if it was moving.

Lucky Alffe mom
All I see are rain drops tonight .

Abbie 09-01-2009 10:27 PM

The local news just said there are two (2) planets that can be seen tonight.

Wish I was able to go outside and watch the stars and planets... it's too cool outside here for me.

It's cold up here in Virginia, and I have trees blocking my sight of the stars, except in the Northern skys.

Jupiter, and Venus are visable this time of year. Sometimes Venus gets superbright, but not every year.

There's a comet up there also. I haven't seen it. It's green they say.
I have this small telescope, but in order to see that green comet,I'd have to be in a observatory. BF:hug::hug::hug:

I live in a remote area so the night sky is spectacular. I go outside with my telescope, a big mug of tea, a parka and my bear gun and marvel at one of God's creations while hoping I don't have to shoot another.
