Please Pray For My BIL & His Family
 

Please pray for my BIL (my deceased sister's husband) and his family. My nephew and his uncle (BIL's brother) were bike riding and the uncle had a tire blow out while descending a hill at a pretty high rate of speed. He hit a tree and suffered severe head trauma. He passed away during surgery overnight. I knew him well. He was a firefighter here in the county I live in and he and his wife had four children - all of whom my two grew up with. I haven't seen him since my sister's funeral but little did I know that the next time I saw him would be at his. :( He was planning on retiring in the next couple of years. So, so sad. I'm just shocked.

Wow, I am so sorry. What a shocking was to go. I really just have no words that are adequate to convey my thoughts. I just hate to hear about things like that. I hope your nephew is going to be OK after seeing that happen to his dad.

Was he the BIL who was going to come over soon?

Thanks, Holly. But it was my nephews father's brother (my BIL's brother).....my nephew's uncle.

Edit: Yes, I had invited my BIL and his new wife over for Sunday but that will have to be postponed now. I just tried to call my nephew but he didn't answer his phone. I'm sure he's shaken up after this.
