Toxins Everywhere
I posted this, not because it is new information, but it is a recomfirmation of what WE ALREADY KNOW. Of course, our environment will never change...well, not in my lifetime...probably not in my grandchildren's lifetime...and it is why diseases continue to increase in frequency of diagnosis; e.g. PD, more and younger.
Society will never STOP the cause, but only continue to find cures for the result, which is disease. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Toxins Everywhere Red Orbit Published: 2007/01/03 00:00:11 CST By Rajen M. http://www.redorbit.com/news/health/...urce=r_health# IT is in the news, and you read about it all the time. The pigs are fed growth enhancers. The cows are injected with hormones. Some of the meats are dyed red. Poultry is antibiotic tainted. Fruit and vegetables are sprayed with chemicals to look good, keep the pests away and last longer on the shelf. Dr Mercola listed the ten of the most common toxins found in the United States on his website - the most visited alternative site on the planet. The most dangerous ones are at the top of the list. Read on. It pays to know what could be poisoning you. 1. PCBs (polychlorinated biphenyls): This is an industrial chemical. It has been banned in the United States for decades. However, it still persists in our environment.
6. Dioxins: Chemical compounds formed as a result of combustion processes such as commercial or municipal waste incineration and from burning fuels (like wood, coal or oil).
Rajen M. is a pharmacist with a doctorate in Holistic Medicine. He is a director of the Malaysian Herbal Corporation and a CEO of a group of companies in alternative healthcare.[ Key points 1. Toxins are part of modern living 2. Toxins load the body and lead to disease as well as dysfunction 3. This can be linked to the increase in both frequency and array of disease 4. Five of the 10 most common toxins in the United States are air borne 5. It is possible to reduce toxins in the body using tenets of traditional medicine References 1. www.mercola.com 2. www.epa.gov 3.www.usa.gov/oig/webdocs/33601-04-AT.pdf (c) 2006 New Straits Times. Yes, Michael, thanks.
Attachment 627 How are you these days? I assume you come in here to read often. I do miss you posting all the time as you once did. |
Hi there Carolyn and Don. It is a good thing that I posted that link. Upon checking it out I discovered that one of my links had expired and one of them had changed from an .org to a .com, and the guest book had been shut down due to hackers. I think I have it all working again now, except for the guest book. Oh well.
Carolyn, I don't come here nearly as often as I once did. I have to guard against becoming a postaholic again. It had really gotten out of hand for a while, so now I try to casually meander through here and grab up a few tid bits of info along the way. I do miss it from time to time. be blessed, all. mchael |
