getting on
 

Does anyone else have trouble getting on? I come one day & my name & password are not on, so I make a new password. I come the next day & again my name & new password that I got yesterday is not on, so I make a new one, and so on. I wonder why this happens? Is it because I am banned for some reason. If so, can DocJohn tell me? BTW DocJohn, I see it's your birthday. Happy Birthday.

lol if you were banned you wouldnt be able to post at all;) and rest assured we usually only ban spammers at NT and for sure would never ban a member without much discussion with them over problems first.

it sounds to me like you are having a problem with cookies. if your internet security is set to disallow cookies then the NT system will not recognize you when you try to log in

also, remember that log in is case sensitive so you have to type your user name and password in the case you originally chose....for example if you entered Lor instead of lor, the system will not recognize you

If it is your cookies being removed every time -

for Firefox you can go into your browser tools - Privacy - cookie section add http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com and set it to allow


for IE go to Tools - internet options - Privacy
then click the Sites button and add http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com and click Allow

you try that and see if it helps.

You would probably only want to do that if it is your own personal computer , not on a shared computer that others use
