Brain Surgery for Seizures

Hi All,
We have a daughter 31, who is a possible canidate for brain surgery. She has had seizures for the past 7 yrs, with no reduction in episodes after trying all of the meds on the markets. The last and final med is Vimpax. Her seizures occur in in left front tempral lope. She has pseudo, partial complex and grand mal occassionally.

I would like to communicate with anyone that as had or knows some one that has had brain surgery to reduce or eliminate their seizures:

Thank you all

I have spent the last several hours reading about Wada Test and Cortical Mapping prior to surgery and other test and possible complications. I tried to get her to read up on the procedures, but it scared her and gave her headaches. So Mom is doing the research.

How long is the recovery period after surgery? I've read you stay in the hospital for maybe 3 days or more.

She's concerned about having to shave her head???

Are there any specific questions we need to ask the doctors prior to surgery?

Has you can see I have a lot of questions.

We are believing God for healing even if it is thru surgery! I was reading that some doctors don't refer patients for surgery up to 20 years! I thank God that they were finally able to video her thru EEG, PET, and SPECT in Aug after 7 yrs of EEG and MRIs.
