He will be missed. I really enjoyed his movies. He seemed like a nice guy too.

He was my man!! I loved him as an actor, and watched several interviews. He was very down to earth and seemed genuine, which you don't always find in acting careers.

Tom Hanks is another, my DS saw him once at Universal. He shook his hand and told him how beautiful my adopted granddaughter is...of course, they do not know why you take a camera. lol

Oh, that's so sad. Ghost is one of my favorite movies. He'll be missed. :(

He was a nice guy and so talented. He had a bad kind of cancer and he fought really hard. He'll definitely be missed. :(

he had pancreatic cancer, and fought very very hard! I was shocked when I saw him still smoking when he did his interview with barbara walters. He said his MD told him that after that many decades of smoking, it was a bit too late to quit. he was already in a boat load of trouble, and quitting would only add stress, and stress was his enemy at that point in his life.

He was an amazing actor, and could dance! Very nice man.

Was a big fan from the day I saw him in The Outsiders. He will be missed.

:( He had the same cancer my paternal grandmother had. She lasted 18 months after diagnosed. She took no treatment for it when her oncologist told her chemo would only buy her an extra 6 months at most. Pancreatic cancer is one of the most painful and difficult cancers to treat.

Oh no, not another one. So sad. :(

So sad....It kind of makes me mad, you know? You have so many self-important party boys out there heck-bent on self distruction. Then there's a pretty decent guy like this, seems to be behaving and working, doing the right things, and he has to go way too soon. Life never is fair, is it?

My fave of his movies is To Wong Foo. It was sooo funny, but he brought complete dignity to the role at the same time.
