Hi Everyone

I was searching for an answer about my aneurysm and came across this site and joined! I had an aneurysm coiled (in my head) about 18 months ago. I think I have been lucky that after about the first six months I don't seem to have had any problems (haven't had my two year scan yet though). I would just like to ask (sounds silly) whether anyone has had a dripping nose after having this operation? On occasion my ears leak as well! It is not due to a cold or anything like that and there is no warning ... clear liquid seems to sometimes drip out. I am just wandering whether it is related to my op? Anybody else have this?

Hi, and welcome to the community! This is a good place to be.

Is your doctor aware of the leaking issue? I think I would feel better knowing that a doctor had ruled out any issues that needed to be addressed right away. Please keep us posted!

Thanks to everyone for welcoming me to this site. I want you all to know just HOW GLAD I am that I did! It seems my question that I thought was silly could in fact be quite serious!!! My Doctor has already booked me in for a test to see if it is spinal fluid. It seems that if it is and I hadn't done anything about it it could have been quite serious. Hopefully it isn't but at least I will have it checked.
