Double vision

Has anyone tried prism lenses for the double vision? I have hear that this can sometimes be effective. This double vision sure brings you to a halt.

Hi and welcome to the best site for MGers like us. I don't use them but I believe someone here does and said they worked. You are right on the double vision bringing things to a halt.. I was out today and had to come home because as hard as I tried I couldn't get my vision to work, actually called the Dr and requested to be put back on mestinon and I have not taken that in over 17 years.

Hi Aviator!

Hello and WELCOME to the best site on the web for MG! You are going to LOVE it here! I promise you that!:D
I don't think prisms will work b/c your eyes are so weak (when you have double vision) that they are literally rolling around in your head.
The ONLY thing that worked for me was prednisone.
I may be wrong, though! There are so many smart people that know a heck of a lot more than I do - hopefully they will post soon!
Take care!
Erin:D
