to go to my photography class tonight. For the longest time today I felt like canceling due to being tired but I did not cancel. Now I look forward to going.

Bobby told me this morning that it is not necessary to worry about him like I do. I know I do it because I don't have any kids or a pet to worry about.

Beth, how did your class go? A lot of mine was over my head but one thing I did know that the instructor was impressed with. He asked the class if anyone knew what JPEG stood for. I told him Joint Photographers Exchange Graphic and he said, "wow, I'm impressed that you know that." It made me really feel good to be the star for that moment.

One thing I remember the instructor saying was that if you use the USB to upload pictures it would be best to download the camera's software to get as good quality picrtures. However, if you use the memory card downloading the camera's software would not make a difference.

Thank you Mari. Last night's class was just a one night class. There are other classes on a higher level that I plan to attend but I do not know when they are.

It was raining and I went to the wrong building and it was dark, but luckily I found a parking space up close and did not get too wet.
glad that I had brought a cover for my paper. The class was taught totally different from the one 10 years ago. we are painting a color wheel and our homework is to try mixing 2 different colors together do this many times and then paint a wash over them. 10 years ago we just started painting....The instructor is an art therapist, she told us to have fun with the paints. I need better brushes.
It is hard starting over but I think I enjoyed last night, the class meets for 6 weeks on tuesdays. I am going back to the scarey shed and pull out my old palate with the many different colors see if I can salvage it...the little palatte that I have doesn't have a cover and between the rain and then the cats investigating every thing I need a cover for the paints.
anyway 1st class down. now to practice.

Beth, glad to hear about your class. I think that I would enjoy the color mixing but then it's not the same as web colors. I'm not a painter by no means but love the arts. I would not mind taking a water color class. Next month I take a floral design class that last for 4 weeks once a week. Keep us informed on next week's class.
