Good News and not so good news. Update on me and mine.

are expecting their first child on/around May 28th! I cannot believe how excited I am! My baby sons are 27, twins Doug and Darin, so its been a while since we've had a little one around.

My other just built his first home and it is b-e-a-utiful! I am so proud of him, he has worked hard and deserves the best. He is a programmer and system analyst. He is very smart and since I can barely turn on a computer, I cannot understand how he programs computers and build websites that are amazing. A brilliant young man with a great sense of humor.

My daughter is married too and they were trying for their first child but there have been complications. She has just been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, endometriosis and cystic ovaries. Her doctors were talking about a hysterectomy, which has devastated her, but there is a drug called Lupron, we've been told it is basically a chemical hysterectomy that will wear off after several months. The shot alone costs $1500. It has been really hard for her lately, to make matters worse some of her docs have been less than professional. She doesn't have personal insurance as she was laid off from her job, and her husband makes too much money for medical assistance. Docs do not like self payers much it seems. She is staying strong and I try to help as I know the horrors of chronic pain. I do not know much about fibro except what I've read here. She is trying to go back to school in October, as she is determined to go on with her life. I'm proud of her too.

As for me, my rsd was static for a while. but it seems to be becoming worse. It is also spreading and I am going to begin a new series of blocks. We hope to nip it in the bud so to speak. The blocks have worked in the past, but I am still very nervous.

Welcome to all new people. I'm not on a whole bunch but am going to try to post more. So how is everyone? How has the world been treating you? Let me know if I can help in some way.

As always you guys and gals are the best. HAGD!

Hi Kathy,

Glad to see you back. Sorry to hear you aren't doing so good. I think blocks is the best way to go to try and get it back into remission. It usually takes more then one or two from what I have noticed with people around here. They helped me when I had them.

Sorry to hear about your daughter. It sounds like she is suffering too. I do hope things work out for her and she can eventually have a little one. If not there is adoption and foster care also. My friend just took in a 3 years old. I went out last night and played cards with her. She was taken out of an abusive foster home but is doing good. To me a child is a child is a child. Fun and fun to love.

I'm glad your boys are doing good and you, expecting your first grandbaby, wow. You won't get over your excitement. I will tell you that. Mine are 15 and 16 and I love being around them. I took Dustin out to his girlfriends house last night to measure her dress. I have to hem it for her for the homecoming dance Saturday. I love his little girlfriend. She's became part of the family and now Devin has one.

I am glad to see you back. When oldies disappear we wonder about them and I still hear from several that was on the old forum by email. We have became like family on these forums.

Hope the blocks work and you are able to enjoy the little on when it comes in May.

Ada

Hi kathy!

Wow the good news is really good news! Congrats on the little one for sure :)

You can count on prayers from me and mine for you and your daughter :winky:

Ada is right about the grand babies being so much fun. It could be the worst pain day ever, and when the little one shows up it is like the pain recedes for me LOL.

Sure is good to see your post
