Olive Leaf

A friend told me about olive leaf having good healing agents so I bought a bottle today ($22, OMG).
I'm not sure it will do anything, but what do I have to loose except maybe some pain, right? According to my friend the worse thing that could happen is that I get the trots, lol. Uh, Oh, no bathroom in the big rig.
Anyway, my friend says that the olive leaf has been used for many years to heal people.
Has anyone tried it or any other herbs and had them do any good?

Hi Gojo,
For what it's worth, my mother grew up on olive oil and a mediterranean diet..
She is 97 and has a very clear mind, lives alone, and still cooks with the stuff..
Mix it in with your salad for fiber...good luck in the big rig..thank goodness for truck stops!!:p

I don't think olive leaf is for RSD..pain.

It appears to have a very limited proven track record for infections:
