Eye pain

I've been having pain in the left eye now for days. The pain is back behind the eye and then also just above the eye. Does anyone else have this?

I have had it in the past and just when I would decide to go to the Dr it would go away so I never had it checked out, I chalked it up to muscle strain, but if you are worried than go to the Dr. keep us updated :)

Me Too

Yes, I've had that. It's usually above my left eyeball. Since it's my right eye which droops and becomes blurry I figured it was muscle strain from my poor left eye having to carry the burden. I too find that as soon as it starts to really bother me, it goes away.

Hi Scarpettafan!

Hey hon! I too have eye pain behind my LEFT eye - everything seems to happen to my left side, but that may be b/c I am a lefty!

As for the eye pain - -have you ever tried looking in the mirror when it hurts like that? My eye is always "wonky" or waaaay off center and I know it is time for another round of IV IG - my pupils also get really small - I call them shark eyes.....:D

You need to let your neuro know what is going on...chances are you'll need to get a "boost" in some form - either IV IG or plasma exchange....either way, you should feel 100% better after that!

Hope this helps a bit!

Love,
ERin:hug:

I had pain in my left eye and eyebrow and it turned out to be too much mestinon. My symptoms are always worse on my left side for some reason.
