a little scared
i am sorry i haven`t posted anything in a long time.I injured my left arm and torn my tenet on 12/18/2007.At first they gave me a mri and told me it needed to be fixed. My work is seasonal so I got a cortozone shot .It worked well no pain this is now april.Workmens comp works so slow!!I worked until october reinjured my elbow again.went for another shot and omg it went out of control.Pain level went up to 6-8 turned red from my elbo to my fingers. At that time they sent me to pain mangment.started me on gabapent and amitriptyline. It helped some but not great so the doc tried a block in my neck.I got a bad reaction from that so he started to talk about spinal stim.He than told me to get another opinion on that.So iI went to another doc.He stopped the gabapentent and put me on cymbalta and lyrica.went crazy on the cymbalta.I think if I stayed on the cymbalta I would of killed some one.My emotions where all over the place I would cry and get angry at the drop of A dime.Well i stopped the cymbalta and he thought it was a good idea after i freeked out on him.I have had three blocks in my arm.It is good for a few days little pain and I take 20 mg of amitriptyline and 300 mg of lyrica .I received a letter from workmens comp to see a doc that is independent.I see him nov. 3 I am scared what is next.MY pain level has come down a lot mostly arouind 3-4 but it is not what it was I am just dont know what to expect.Have a lawyer will call her tomorrow again hi

Please, take a deep breath, and gather your strength and faith. You are gonna be OK. I've had this nasty thing for 26 years, and everytime I think I've gotta die, something comes along and shows me, I've gotta try! So, KNOW that you will get through it with these docs. Keep asking for a new referral, if they don't work for you, BUT, KNOW for YOURSELF, when they're not helping you any longer! (You're the only one who can know that)! Slow down, know that you're blessed, and carry on from there... Yer Pal, Pete asb |
