little client BP at 4 yrs old, activities for visit
 

I have not met my new little guy, I monitor visits with Dad and he. Both are bi-polar. dad has been hospitalized three times since Sept.
The little one 4 times in his short life from the social workers notes.

I wonder how it will go.
SHould I keep lights and stimulation low, maybe a video on TV, some floor toys, little rail road set? Lincoln Logs...

I will search I-net and see, but I thought some parents may have ideas. My BP daughter is almost 30 years old...

Oh everything went so well.
I just forgot about the history so to speak.
THe little kids ran to Dad, big huge hugs and kiss. THey played, showed me what they painted, dad put together things on the floor, kids were building and he did hesitate to be in the middle.

Wiped runny noses, sticky fingers from glue and made a paper for them of glitter glue with their names.
I even had a great time.

The older sister had a great fuzzy shiirt on when she came in and I asked could I feel how soft on the collar, she said yes, little guy said how about my shirt, I told him, I bet you have a sport shirt on! He smiled so big, he had footballs soccer balls. They just grabbed my hands and went right into visit.

I had a very, very difficult night when I got home with my own bipolar adult daughter, but I could draw on the great interaction of my gang today to be strong.
Looks like things will be fine.
I just have to remember, diagx are lables, I am not going to lable!
