Weekend Check In............

:) Hi, What's everyone up to for the weekend? Weather is nice and sunny here.

Not really sure what I will be doing. My DV appointment went well yesterday.

Check in....................Hugs, Nikko

Hi Nikko!
I was wondering how you are doing?
It is very nice here today as well.
at least 60 degrees already!
Very strange weather it seems for a lot of folks.
I still can't get over the fact that it did not snow once while we were in Indiana.
My paper whites are starting to bud and I heard that the cherry blossoms are blooming in washington D.C.
crazy!
must try to get things organized around the house, christmas decorations....paper work...clean...
stayed in bed till late...nice to sleep in!

Hi,

We're just moving... from the 4th to the 2nd floor... Cable TV came to hook us up but the cable is cut and they need to get up on the roof... Super is out and cable guy can't come back until Wednesday... have to take another day off... c'est la vie... and we already moved the TV... what will we ever do... http://www.thesmilies.com/smilies/symbolic/tv.gif

Just moving odds and ends today and letting it all sink in... trying not to breath in too much of the clouds of dust we are stirring up... I've been slow to pick up on the excitement of finally getting a bigger place but I think I'm starting to get into it.

The mover men come Monday to move the big stuff. http://www.thesmilies.com/smilies/tr...emitrailer.gif

Open house in our current apartment tomorrow. Doggies love the new space and chased each other up down and sideways when we took them down. http://www.thesmilies.com/smilies/animal/chihuahua.gifhttp://www.thesmilies.com/smilies/animal/chihuahua.gif

Cheers,

It's a boring but relaxing weekend here.

Yesterday it was 70 degrees outside and hubby and I were sitting on the porch together for a while talking and enjoying being outside. We saw several ladybugs and other bugs, we saw kids on their skateboards wearing shorts ans t-shirts, we saw a robin (the bird that signifies that Spring is here)!!

It's January in New England and we have not had any snow at all yet and it's so warm that we have bugs outside and my neighbors tulips bulbs are starting to bud.

It's insane - this is the mildest winter I have ever seen, and I have lived here my whole life.... but it's nice to be able to go outside to smoke without having to bundle up in a hat and gloves :)

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

It's been between 12 and 30 degrees here for the past week. Once it hits 30 or above, it snows buckets. Yesterday was icky. Sunny and cold then white out and scary (and we were driving in it. WHOLE family-I kinda had a massive panick attack.)

Today, I have no plans. The house is a wreck and nobody has vacuumed since I wrecked my SUV. Maybe somebody will be nice and help me clean the house today. Still can't do it by myself.

Love and joy and wellness to all.

Gone too fast

Weekends are like Christmas to me, I almost dread them, but they are supposed to be such fun to look forward to. Maybe I put too much expectation on myself for them, Ummm, that could be.
So I am rattling on, lol.

We did take the grandson to the model train show local held at the holidays. I love it, he was so excited. 19 months old this week. Voo Vooo he goes like the choo choo's. There were all kind of buttons to push and make stuff operate. Couldn't get him to leave.

I almost freaked, lol, I wanted to leave a $5 donation, I had 3- $50's in my wallet to pay bills. Well, I got so scared, I thought I left a $50 instead of a $5....you know what, I still don;t know for certain, but am fairly sure. If not it was one heck of a gift, I have the $50's but wondered, why I had three and not four....Oh well.

I did want my husband, PaPa to go with us and he didn't. I think that made me sad.

On the way home I saw "For Free" Kids Kitchen center and check out counter...nothing but the molded plastic but he will have fun. His other grandma bought a $199 kitchen from Toys R us he loves, I am going to find pans, fake food, and stuff for this one.

Work was Ok today....I had only two cases, first one cancelled. But, one was new. THe dad has problems, but he got right on the floor with kids, blew little guys nose, wiped glue from fingers...I was so happpy for him. THere is serious depresion, hospitalizations and very serious issues since Sept. But he loves the kids and they love him.

Oh, they ran into his arms! Little girl "sneaked" a peppermint candy in, lol.
I loved their visit.
This job, has instant grantifacation for good things when they happen.

I love you guys, are we ready for Monday!
Nikko, glad to read you...
Mrs Bear, if you ahve pets, buy those sticky swifter pads and stick them to the pets bellys, let them rip. If you don;t have any, borrow titones' sounds like they could do it. Hey, I wash my floor like that, rags on the feet and slid around!

Tritone, hope cable and move are over soon. A bigger place will make such a difference when there is just "more space".

Liz, I know here in the Pocono's we are in the same boat. Maybe by Monday night Tuesday a flurry. We had a few on Christmas and on my Birthday the 27th. I do like the lower heat bills with cost sky rocketing.

waves, I am sending you a huge, big cyber hug, you can cry only for 20 minutes, that it, then gal, lets do something cool. Want dance, I will Internet boogie if you will.
You are loved, not bringing anyone down. I have such a heavy heart over a loved ones pain issues, but I still have to cope, and my gang here helps me.
just because you all are here!

I should have been a total crap of a day I would not want anyone to have at home here, but I got my friends here to care that I am OK. and I want them Ok cause it is important to me.
You all mean so much, just caring how the wekend wen t no matter how it did, or any day.

Dear Waves,
I can't speak for others on the board, but you do not drag me down.
My own stuff drags me down. Or rather the fact that I cannot handle my stuff drags me down.

I like hearing from. If you can't post, I understand. But don't edit yourself.
We are here for you. Really and truly.

And about your dad, let yourself off the hook. It's ok. He might be understanding from what I gather. ('scuse me if I am wrong.)

I'm still looking for the miracle gift basket to send you. When they become available a good one is said to change weekends with crying to weekends of peace and clarity about oneself.
