New member.

I guess that makes me a newbie!!!!
Anyway, I found this forum while surfing for info on Amitriptyline and Neurontin. I just started this combo of drugs yesterday. I didn't have a very good day either as I felt like crap. I have been on tramadol since my surgery for a spinal tumor back in Jan. of 2006.

I had a Schwannoma tumor removed from my spinal cord on Jan. 17, 2006. The NS did a laminectomy of T11, T12, and L1 to get to it and remove what he could. Since then my MRI's have indicated the tumor is not growing back but I have severe pain in the surgery and surronding areas.

Just last week I switched to another hospital for a second opinion. I was referred to a new doctor and saw him this week. Next week I will get a full round of MRI's, lab work and xrays. He also put me on Amitriptyline and Neurontin for the pain. He said they wanted new MRI's because their machines will provide clearer images than the ones I had from the last place.

Now to search through the forum.....................
