I would call the Doctor that did your fusion and let him/her know what's going on. It seems that once you have had a surgery, any other surgeons hate to touch what someone else has done.

My mom has had several fusion in the Thoracic and Lumbar areas. She is in pain every day and can hardly stand up straight. Her surgeon no longer does backs (I wonder why??) and no other surgeon wants to attempt to fix what's broken.

She has had alot of troubles with screws moving and pressing on nerves as she gets older and her bones weaken.

Make an appt now!

About 2 years after my cervical fusion I had a return of symptoms. They had to do a posterior foraminotomy to releive some pressure on the nerves. It worked okay as much of the searing nerve pain is alleviated most of the time.
