Woke this morn...yep! it snowed! we got about an inch, but its snow!

no wonder I felt so horrible.

Farther South, Maryland (me) the leaves are thinking about it, but haven't really changed. But 2 or so days of spring are followed like a dropped stone on us of summer and humidity.

Dej,

When do you usually get your first snow, in November sometime? Maybe this means we'll all get an early spring! :)

Who was it that said the Farmer's Almanac said that for N. Illinois, it's supposed to be very cold but not record amounts of snow? I don't like to have a lot of snow either but I also don't like the frigid cold days. But we'll get through it somehow... It's just too early for this to start. :Noooo:

SNOW lol. It's gonna be 92 degrees here and feel like 101! I'm gonna melt if this doesn't soon :).

We normally get some dustings, and an inch or so in Nov. Dec lets loose, and we start getting buried. we dont see that ground again till may. the sun has gone away, its grey, over cast, and yucky! I have done my winter is coming shopping run to the grocery store, and so did everyone else. it was crowded in there. Now I can be stuck in the house for weeks, and we will be just fine.

its gonna be a long haul.

I love the first snow, or should I say, I used to.. That's when I could get out and play in it, or stay out of school because of it.

I still love to look at it, flying past my window, from the safety and warmth of my home. :)
