First Acupuncture Appt Today.... Update
 

My mom shows up bright and early and takes me out to breakfast before our scheduled time. Which was nice. Then we head over to the docs office. He gives me a slew of paperwork to fill out and brings me back. He did some poking some prodding and asked a few questions and we begin.

Surprisingly, it is my hands and from my knees down and into my feet that are being treated. Didn't hurt at all except the one spot on the side of my hand. But it wasn't that bad. And by the time we were finished I was begging him for 20 more minutes as I had just fallen asleep and was SO tired.

He did surprise me by turning on a heat lamp above my feet. I was surprised because it actually felt good. I am glad I decided to spend Sunday giving myself a pedi, the pumpkins on my big toes were a hit.

It was very.... relaxing. Don't really see any improvements in symptoms but he says most people don't on their first visit. But I did leave with a wonderfully relaxed feeling and I am scheduled to go back on Friday. So we will see.

Cool! We want an update on Friday.

I think it was my 2nd or even 3rd time before I felt any relief from the pain.
