Thread early for the weekend
 

Hi guys I'm headed out tomorrow for the weekend. I just might take a computer for the weekend. But not sure. I am sure that we will have a good time.

I'm really looking forward to the weekend, we are going to some museums, not sure which ones for sure.

But you guys all have a good weekend.

Give us an update en route if you do take the 'puter.

But... it will might be more of a break without it. Not to mention hauling it around is no fun.

I took my laptop on a trip to Switzerland once. They have these weird electric outlets there. I stayed at a decent hotel - a Best Western - but they didn't have the right kind of adapter, so when my battery died...

Eh, basically, I went to Switzerland with a laptop and came back with a brick. Ok, maybe just a bit flatter, but your basic, heavy rectangular thing, with no functionality.

(now i have a set of adaptor plugs :D ... but no money for trips to Switzerland. :()

sorry for the ramble... anyway have fun and we'll be looking out for a full report from you when you get back!

Enjoy Chicago.

I once almost thought about going to my cousin's Chicago fall wedding but I decided to stay home. A friend went to Chicago last summer but stayed in the conference hotel the whole time.

That's as close to Chicago as I've gotten.

Oh, and years and years ago the zoo was supposed to be nice. Does the city still have a good zoo?

Its pouring here and we haven't gotten started. My husband is paying
bills and trying to get his unemployment to take on the computer.

This is necessary things. So we are leaving hopefully soon.

Not a big problem, if these are settled he will be in a better mood.

Now he is complaining about my not taking a goodwill tag off the luggage.

Heehee. He bought it for me, he should have taken it off. I couldn't
get it off. It didn't bother me.

Anyway I like the idea of the zoo too.

Popeye's YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! You do mean the spicy fried chicken place, right? I thought they only had them in the South... awww man i used to loooooooooove their biscuits better than any at any other place. I was pretty crazy about their chicken too, don't get me wrong! :cool:

a decadent meal is going to popeyes and have their spicy chiken thighs red beans and rice and their wonderful biscuits! so good and not so good for us.
