female trouble

I am SO UTTERLY disappointed and upset as heck....

Tuesday I had spotting, and it got steadily worse until last night at 4:44 am when I had to get UP and get a fricken' towl just to sleep because the pad I had put on a little before bed was obliterated; WHY? WHY didn't the ablation work?? I am really upset, I think it's gonna mean hysterectomy next....*Sobs*

uh-oh

(((Pam)))

I had to edit this post after reading Di's and an old thread of yours...

I had at first been concerned about a post-op hemorrhage and had suggested ER, but i see now your surgery was last month. so this would be your menses, which were problematic before... So now i don't know.

If the bleeding is excessive compared to before, perhaps ER should still be a consideration.

In any event, I would still call your doc tomorrow and let him/her know this is happening.

i hope you feel better. :o :hug::hug::hug:

Pam when I went through this even though I was 40+ years old I went on depoprovera shots. WHen I had breakthrough I took another shot in the interum also some provera pills. I think it is about the harmones not the dynamics that flare the heavy stuff.

I was miss diagx as having fibroids, when it was a large C-sec scar.
When I was 53 I stopped the depo shots.
Finally I went through the entire change last year. Really never noticed, except some warm flashes, rarely.

Now I need a D&C for the little lining left, it did not come out with the pills they gave me and can't stay in.

I hope that you can have it resloved. Scary thought to have surgery. My dil is scheduled on Dec 10 and actually is relieved after years of pain. Looks like my little dgs is the only grand child from my olderst.
Hugs to you, Di

PS, did you search for holastic type things like teas that may slow down?

Dear Pam,
This is disappointing.
Call the doc /s first thing tomorrow.

They'll help you.

M.

Thanks for the concern everyone. I am calling the dr's office in about half an hour. It's still pretty bad flow, like before, and I am worried about it, I think hysterectomy is our next step unfortunately. :( I just hate that the ablation was in vain...

Dear Pam,
It's going to be ok.
You know that you will be in good hands.

I haven't heard back from either the health dept, which is where the gyno works out of on Fridays, or my regular dr who I just called a bit ago. We'll see waht happens, I am back to going through a pad every three hours and it's just so awful to feel this mess all over again, I just hate it! :(

waves 10-26-2009 04:48 PM

i hope you hear from some one soon!

Dear Pam

I really hope one of those docs calls back pronto! it surprises me they have not at least made contact. if nothing else had a nurse call, if it is nothing to be worried about, to reassure you!

hon, if you don't hear back from them by end of day, go to ER. The thing is after the procedure, the blood may not be from endometrial shedding which is what concerns me. Still, a pad every three hours is less than one per hour, which is the emergency conditions i have read of. which is reassuring. but i totally cannot know, so i really want you to be in touch with a doc. latest tomorrow, ok?

i am so sorry this is all coming down. :(
