TGIF, Its raining here
 

Gosh its raining and Derrick is off with a group of kids in another town.
For Halloween night a night early. He should have a great time. He
has a cold and should be fine. But gosh it is raining and I hope its
better weather if he feels like it tomorrow.

I have been home all day, I didn't feel like battling the rain. I'm hoping
to go look for a bed tomorrow.

its been raining all day, but is supposed to quit in time for the trick or treaters...so lets hope it is not a mud pit for them....

I couldn't tell you what the weather has been here... I think I heard it raining earlier....

I haven't looked outside....

I've slept pretty much all day but feel like I'd fall asleep fast if I just shut my eyes....

Well. The TV guide channel was showing just clouds so I thought I was safe to move all the winter clothing outside..ds just came in and asked why I had the coats out in the rain! :eek:

Everything from the closet had to be rushed in and now I have to stand and rehang everything, and clean the closet out asap to get things off the table and chairs.

Sorry for the kids trick or treating tonight, but, a week or so ago it was snow!

Hi all its cold here tonight. Derrick is getting ready to go tonight.

But that is okay. I think he will have fun with this group of friends
too. I'm so glad he has found another group of friends to do something
with tonight.

Before I've always had to go out and help with the trick or treating so
he could go. It gets kind of hard for him to let me do this.

So its nice he can do it alone this year.

I hope to do something tomorrow. I'm tired of not having anything fun
to do.

It rained all week long and it drove me nuts. I do not like rain when I have to go out. I only like it when I am inside and dry and I am drinking hot coffee and have blankets. Mmmmcozy:p

it rained here today too
 

and when it wasn't raining it was overcast.

it started to clear out as dusk was setting in.

we had all the lights on all day for the plants. my mom has brought her plants indoors for the winter so there are little groups of them here and there, and my big plant on the coffee table.

i didn't see the forecast for tomorrow but i think i heard grumbling about there being more bad weather.

i actually don't mind rain. it's odd. i don't like getting wet when it gets too cold though. so here, i mostly limit myself to watching it or listening to the tippety tap and slushy car sounds, from inside.

when i lived in the subtropics i adored rain and big storms. when there wasn't electrical activity, i would sometimes go out and walk barefoot in the rain in summer (even the raindrops were warm), and go back inside happily drenched. it was perfectly delectable. wet grass underfoot and the warm scent of wet earth in the air.

there you have it, my life in one word: nostalgia.
