Translation Please LOL!

Hi,

This is a bit light hearted, but I have been struggling with some of the abbreviations that some of you use in your postings. It maybe Im being a bit thick or the MG fog has set in! I know when I used the phrase Boffin myself that caused quite a stir!

I'll admit it took me a while to understand what Dx meant! The one Im struggling with at the moment is

BTW ! What is this short for.....

Sorry

Love
Rach

BTW = By The Way
LOL = Laugh Out Loud
WTH = What The Heck or whatever else you want..LOL
Dx = Diagnosis
PCP = Primary Care Physician
ROFLMAO = Rolling On Floor Laughing My ***** Off

You can go online and print out a whole bunch of these, that is how I learned.. :)

Translation please LOL!

Well I am one of the ones who doesn't know what Boffins are. I thought it had something to do with the elder members of the group. Is that right?

Kendra, Boffins is an English term (Rach is from England) that means "super smart people." Or scary smart. :) Slang for nerds maybe.

BTW, Rach, I'm ROF-NOT-LMAO thinking WTH your DRS. are NOT doing about your RX and DX. LOL.

hi

Thanks for explaining it! I had come up with all sorts of ideas of what BTW was. Some not repeatable.

Having a really crappy day so thanks for the laugh. Have been in bed all day, I rarely do this as I will stay out of bed for as long as possible, rather than give in.

Thanks

Love
Rach

I'm sorry you aren't feeling well Rach.:( I haven't felt good since I got out of the hospital and I really think it was from the BP med. I was so much weaker, tired, shaky...just yucky. I started cutting them in half and today is the best day I've had in a very long time. I'm keeping a check on my PB and hope that it stays good on this dose. If not, then my pcp will have to prescribe a different one when I see him on the 19th. Since he knows nothing about MG, I think I'll call my neuro and ask his advice before seeing my pcp. I hope with rest you will feel much better tomorrow.;)

Big Hugs,
Pat
