temporal lobe epilepsy

Hello,

I was semi-diagnosed with TLE by my psychiatrist in September, and have yet to have this diagnosis corroberated by my neurologist. I have some questions regarding your experiences with TLE, I'd like to know that I'm not alone and I don't have an untreatable disorder.

Pressure of thought or forced thinking. I've used those terms to explain a constant uncomfortable and painful part of consciousness where I feel as though my thoughts are being hurried or forced, this includes intrusive OCD-like thoughts, where I feel as though I am being forced to think of myself and things as my brain thinks other people do, thus I feel quite empty. My free will and thinking is compromised and I feel confused with a giant headache. Ok got a go, thanks.

I'm not exactly sure how TLE looks. But I would definately look at going
to the epilepsy room here. Talking to some folks that have some of the
this same form. My son has seizures and they are physical and that is
something different than you are referring to.

But what you are experiencing can be seizures. And if they are it needs
to be treated by medication. So even if you can't get a neurologist to
agree. You can ask the psychiatrist to prescribe a medication that works
for the TLE, that might also help any other problems in depression or
anxiety you have.

Or even headaches, there are a couple of really good drugs for these things.
That might just help your other symptoms too.
