Painful Legs?

What do you do about the pain in your legs. This started about a month ago, is this a flare or just symptoms again. I take baclefen, which helps I have not had much pain except 5 years ago when it was in my R. arm so bad that I had to have IV steroids. I don't think this needs steroids, but it hurts in both legs and it is more difficult to walk. Do you feel like you have to be your own doctor.

I feel it's best to call your doctor to let him or her know what's going on. I know my neuro tells us to call when things crop up.
Hope you feel better soon:hug:

Hi poochie,
What type of pain are you referring too? Is it spasms, heaviness, burning, shocks, dull aches or a nerve-like pain? Your Neuro will want you to explain the type of pain you are having, so he/she can decide what treatment, if any, will help you.

When in doubt about something, always call your doctor. I hope you feel better soon.:)

It's spasms with dull aches, I know it's not nerve pain, I've had that before. I'm thinking its the statin drug I've been on for 9 years, I don't know why after 9 years, but I've been off for 2 days and the pain is somewhat better, I will talk to him next week. It sort of mimics MS pain, so I will have to take different steps to find out.
