Can we talk bras????

Not trying to offend anyone just give info.....so no offence please!!!!:Sigh:

I have just purchased the new Itec bra and undies from La Senza...or Victoria's secret in the US (large lawsuit about the fabric so La Senza used the bra despite VS having the patent so they bought La Senza...hope we get the gear as well)

anyhoooo......the bra is great like wearing nothing at all! Comfort galore and is a sexy treat to wear the undies are the same......

just a note.
take care all,
Victoria

HI,

Bras...ugh. Had surgery on right side four weeks ago and having trouble finding a comfortable bra I can wear. Only thing that works is the sports bra

Any other suggestions?

try itec.....

you can return it if you need to with in I think don't quote me two weeks if you don't like it. check with them before you purchase it. It is so soft and if you wear it loose enough I am sure you could handle it!!!!! go try one on if you are able or get someone to buy one for you. buy one the right size for you and then buy an extender you can get it from a sewing shop or I think now at the bra stores......see what thy have and if you need to wear it a little loose for a while then so be it.....try it girl you may like it the fabric is so soft as I said it is barely perceptable. No seems to make you itch I don't have to move the bra at all it is in place the same place all day and all night so hope this helps you

take care and good luck

I still can't wear a bra

It has been 2 1/2 months since my surguries, and I still can't wear a bra. If it has straps it makes me scream. The strapless ones ride right over the incision sites, and it hurts. I have tried a bustier, and it is very uncomfortable to wear. Not to mention that the plastic boning bends and distrorts from moving around. I am DD38, and it is very uncomfortable not wearing a bra. The weight pulls on my muscles, and the incisions and just makes the pain worse.
I am doing Atkins right now to try to lose the extra 75lbs I carry around. With any luck most of that weight loss wil be my breasts.
Anyone with ideas, I would love to hear them.

I just plain can't find any that fit well and are comfortable!

I hate under wires - they just dig in too much
{fatty armpits-LOL}
I like to have a bit of padding - but not the phony excessive push up stuff
and the ones I've tried on - they just plain don't fit my shape!

trix - If I lost some weight too I'd have better luck finding bras I think

oooh we are getting some big fluffy snowflakes right now- most of the roads are still warm from the last few days of 48 degree weather-
but tonite we will drop into 20s and then into the teens for about a week.
probably why my traps and shoulders are achy.

I Hear Ya

Uggg Bras - what an uncomfortable thing. Like Trix, I am 'generous' up there and finding bras in the right size are a pain in the butt...I suppose I better find something for post-surgery wearing.

Trix and Jo - I think too if I lost some of my extra 'padding' that some weight will come off upstairs...I am waiting to be able to hit the gym again.

Jo - the flakes are coming down here too...it's about the mid-20s (-4C) here. I have to head off to a meeting soon so hopefully it is just a passing flurry.

I just don't wear them  Then again, i'm a guy, so i can get away with that. Joking aside, I'm sorry that even this is causing some pain. If I knew of anything that would help, i'd let y'all know.

watsonsh 01-10-2007 08:02 PM

Never thought I would pray for them to be smaler to stop contributing to the pain but i would pray to God for an A or B cup...LOL

I just realized I had a comment to add here, even though it has been a while. I was just trying to wear an older bra, and realized what has been making my current ones so comfortable.

I wear bras that are a little bit big and have thick padding w/underwires. The thick padding/underwire combo makes it stand up on it's own so that the straps don't really hit my shoulders too badly.

I am only a big C/small D.

HI, I had surgery in Oct, and still swell so bad under the arm and around to my back, If I do have to go out with a bra it is so painful . I walked into a Baptism last weekend and announced "Make it quick, I only have so much Bra Time :) " So I will try that, Thank you all so much for helping me feel like I'm not the only one with these TOS problems that can be overwhelming to say the least...
