Does this ever get better?
 

I am a mom of 3 and my middle child, 12, is BP. She's in the hospital right now and the DR.'s are changing every med she is on. Her behavior is as bad as it gets and I am afraid of losing her. They want to put her in a Residential Treatment program and that will be hard for the family. It's already hard enough. Has anyone ever gone through this and does it get better (manageable) after treatment?:confused:

I'm so sorry you're going through this with your daughter. :( I can't imagine how much pain it causes you, your daughter and your entire family.

I hope the doctors will be able to get her medicine doses set so that she can come home to you. I'm glad you found us. :hug: :hug:

Hi, I'm Donna and my oldest son is now 27 and he was in a residential placement at the age of 16. It was a lifesaver for him. he had lots of
behavioural problems that were out of control. But we couldn't find the
right medications. And it took being placed to get the right ones.

He was in a program with strict rules. And had to learn to get along with
others. So that he could return home, and get a chance for the kind
of life he has now.

I can totally understand were your coming from.
