Caffeine and to a lesser extent theobromine (found in chocolate)
are diuretics. Caffeine is pretty strong.

High dose Vit C (over 1000mg) will also do it.

Alcohol also is pretty effective.

Here is an article from Dr. Weil:

My doctor whose specialty is "integrative medicine" (like Dr. Oz) and is an MD with degree from Case Western Reserve (so he isn't a quack) has recommended I take "standard process cabarmide" to help with my water retention. He sold it out of his office but I also found it on Amazon here at:
http://www.amazon.com/Standard-Proce...8730526&sr=1-2 It isn't cheap but I prefer ordering online when I'm not planning on a doctors visit.

FYI - I did a google search and found at least one other site on the web recommending this for high blood pressure. My blood pressure isn't high but it got significantly lower, perhaps because of this, I'm not sure since I didn't keep careful records. So this may not be good for you if your blood pressure is on the low side.

Standard Disclaimer: I am not any kind of health practitioner, just someone looking for the least toxic solutions I can find. I already take a lot of Vitamin C so that apparently isn't helping me in this area.

Looks like it is some form of urea.
