Flare
 

Hi Gang,
Well, I am still breathing, but feeling really discouraged because I seem to really be having a flare up of my ON. What I mean is that I am having more days of extreme pain as opposed to days of nagging pain.

I am still seeing my pain specialist frequently (ever 1-2 weeks) for freezing shots and I am taking meds daily. I am still waiting (it seems to just never end) to get in to see a neuro surgeon about the ONS.

I have spent alot of time in bed lately and over the last 2 weeks have had 2 MRIs with contrast (as per my MS specialist) so maybe they will see something new, though I am dreading the results because I am afraid they will come up with some new, fresh hellish treatment for me. (I did chemo over the spring and summer for my MS and it did nothing for me, but make me horribly sick and misearable.) I have ON as a result of all the lesions on my c-spine.

Anyway, that's where I'm at. It's so frustrating because I've been like this for the last 17 months and I am sick and tired of feeling like this.
