Abbreviations

I'm having some difficulty with some abbreviations here. I;ve just let it ride, thinking it would eventually come to me, but my assumptions just aren;t right, so maybe one of you guys would help me out?

Whats "DH" I get that it's "Husband" but what's the D for? Dopey? Dear? Devoted? Disabled?

Same with DD or DS? Second D is daughter, the S is son, but what's the first D for?

I know there are some others, but I can't think of any or find any examples right now.

Thanks for your usual help.

I think the D means anything you want at the time. Dear, Dopey, D***, whatever. It changes.

The first D is DEAR. I use DDH, when refering to mine, which means DearDepartedHusband..;)
