Dave Mefferd

Hello - My name is Dave - I'm 65 years old and was diagnosed
with ALS over 12 years ago. At that time - I left traditional
medicine and went to Alternative - vitamins and therapy. It
has worked pretty well - as most of my symptoms are better
and I'm still mobile (but use a cane). My worst symptom is
weak legs - so this is my area of concentration. Open for some
ideas. Thanks

Welcome to NeuroTalk Dave! :welcome_sign: I'm glad you found us!

I'm very impressed that you're doing so well with the ALS using vitamins and therapy. I'm thrilled for you actually! I hope you'll continue to do well for many, many more years. :)

:)

Welcome to NT

I glad it's working for you as well. I don't have any ideas for weakness of the legs other than maybe better circulation, toning or endurance strengthening if you think those may help. You've probably already tried many things you could share with us.

There's lots of info here. So let us know if you need to know how to get around the board.

See ya around. :D

Thanks for invitation. I am Gabi, 50. Diagnostic (moderate) PTSD, in 2005 after a breakdown/trauma in 2003. Depression is my main concern and the fact that my language skills were affected. It's harder because English was not my mother's tongue and I live now in Canada. I hope I don't increase now your tiredness :-)

Dave,

Just wanted to let you know that the other Dave has not logged in to Neurotalk since November 2009 so you may not get an answer.

You can tell the last time a person was here by clicking on the persons name and looking at their profile. You will see "last activity" with the date and time just under their name.

I wish you the best.
:)
Abbie
