Weekend....any plans?

So here it is the weekend again... for me the week flew by.

Got woke up by my parents replacing the soft water machine that's located in the hallway right across from my room.

I didn't do much today...just stayed out of the way. I also had to take some scripts to the pharmacy...it was nearly closing time so I said I would pick them up tomorrow.

Well...that's my weekend in a nut shell.....

Hope everyone is having a good weekend.:)

Dear Abby,
Sometimes quiet weekends are good.
I hope that you are doing ok.

Today I had to do some errands.
Tomorrow I do some stuff for work.

Last night we watched the twilight movie about the vampires it was good. I started reading the first book of many and I liked it. The second movie opened this weekend....we are going to see it on sunday I think.
This morning I put an angus beef roast into the crock pot along with onions and tomatoes and green beans and cream of mush room soup for dinner tonight.
It was raining all day today so I went to an antique mall to purchase some old blue glass bottles. The cats walk on both window ledges that they are displayed and over the years many bottles have been broken.
I was lucky I was able to buy 4 of them from different places, towns. In Breaux Bridge I had a great lunch of duck and sausage gumbo which was very good. As soon as I sat down they served me the best hot french bread it was wonderful! Then visited with a friend of mine on last minute notice, she is always available for a cup of coffee when ever I need her company.
Back home and chatted for a bit on face book, spent some time on the forums then jeff came home from his long day trip to houston for his "hobby".... picking up his favorite beer, dog fish head 90 minute IPA. He treated me to a great beer, left handed milk stout. Yummy!!!! It was a long trip because of traffic and some unexpected delays, standing still for long periods of time, he got lost a couple of times so what could have been an 8 hour trip turned into a 12 hour trip...he is beat!....all for beer! Poor guy!
It is still raining but is supposed to be done by tomorrow afternoon.
I am finished with my art classes for now, would like to take another water color class but none was available for this next session.
I hope that the weather is nice where you live and that you are warm and as painfree as possible....mentally, emotionally, and physically.

I went out to get the mail out of my mailbox, and watched "The Day The Earth STOOD STILL" on HBO. I thought that the first one was better then this one. It was still good. I love science fiction. BF:hug::hug::hug:

Its Sunday morning here.

There were really good friends over for dinner last night.
I went down to meet them late as it is difficult to leave half way through and these days I can't deal with company and conversation for long these days. (Lupus)
Very sweetly they suggested I see this herbalist who has cured ...
I flipped.
I have tried every kind of treatment possible. Herbal, mineral, naturopathy, homeopathy, magnetic, colour therapy, stone therapy, charm bracelets, worships, prayers in every religion. I've travelled to different cities, met holy men, - woken up at ungodly hours. All of this has done myself more harm than good.
I just can't cope with these thought any more.
I know they all mean well, and I am grateful, but I still got frustrated.

Anyway - I called this morning and apologised. They were really sweet and pretended they didn't know what I was talking about. But I do still feel bad that I got at them.

Today I'll just stay home and sleep, watch the first round of the ATP Master's final that starts today and then if I have the energy write a bit for my blog.
There are three entries I have in mind, but haven't had the energy to write them out.

I will also try and be nicer to people and thank them for wanting to wish me well.

Dear Isis,
On the one hand perhaps (I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt for now) they were trying to be helpful. On the other, they were rude to presume that they know more about your condition then you.

That's good. sometimes i can't get out of the front door.

I wonder what it is about sci fi that makes it feel safe for me to watch. I still get emotionally involved, but perhaps that extra step away from reality makes it easier for me not to let things get under my skin the way the news does, or anything that depicts stuff that really could happen. Even if i'm watching stuff get blown up! Fantasy too really. But action or spy movies i have to be in the right sort of mood. And war movies i generally avoid. Sci fi i can eat up! :p

It is weird though i can handle some shows though like Criminal Intent.

I don't get it... but thank goodness for Sci Fi! :):):)

-------------------

I don't know if i will do anything today. I am supposed to go to this shop to check if they have the scanning services i need, but it's a way's away, and i don't even know if they are open on Sunday at all. Other than that... i'm in a holding pattern with nerves. A touch ruffled today. Maybe going to the shop would be good, just for the walk... and if they do have what i need, that will mean i don't need to go to into the city to get stuff done... long trip.

Has anyone seen the movie Thank You for Smoking?
I might watch that this afternoon... on tv.

Everyone,

here's wishing you a good Sunday! :grouphug:

Hi all
Its been a nice weekend here in my neck of Indiana. I spent Friday and Saturday doing one of my favorite things. Helping with a booth. I was
worried I was losing the feeling good with this. Because I haven't had
a feeling for doing these things it seemed. I did lots better on Saturday,
I did not have many parents or families on Friday so it really made me
worry.

So I'm feeling much better now.

Donna
