Ok, DR is 98% certain It's MS. NOW WHAT

Well I have 1 more test to have yet (LUMBAR PUNCTURE) and my Dr feel's that wea are at least 98% certain that I have MS. I think he is still trying to determine what type I have. Right now he has me on Prednisone 20mg x 3,this will be changed to 20mg x 2 next week. The meds seem to have me back up to 80% from when it all started, But I don't want to think all is well due to the meds. I can only wait and see what happens next. I'll post more as the details work out...

Hi BowHunter, and welcome to the board.

Just curious about your tests/results, and why he feels it's necessary to have a LP at this time?

Also, I'm not so sure he can determine what type of MS you have yet, unless you have a long history of symptoms/episodes for him to look back at.
