Migraines and ADHD

Ive had migraines when i was from 9years old to 12 years old. Im 18 and cant focus. i get easily distracted and have been doing bad in school. also i tend to often move alot with my leg or hands.

Im not sure if its adhd or ADD but can it be caused by the migraines i had in my early age? Ive heard that migraines are like mini strokes that causes brain damage. can migraines be linked to ADHD? Does anyone know what the test is called to check your brain's activity?

It would probably be a very good idea to see a neurologist.
He or she might want to order an MRI.
I have heard that repeated migraines can cause little white marks that show up on an MRI and these might indicate some type of minor memory impairment.
There are good medications out there to prevent migraines.
Even some vitamins/supplements are sometimes helpful. Some include magnesium, calcium, Co-Q10 and the B vitamins. Fish Oil is a good overall supplement and might help with ADHD.
Please do what you can to reduce any excessive stress in your life and check out organizing type materials that might help you focus.
Also, again, see a neurologist to find out if you need testing and/or medication.
