I want to know below Diseases which we have found in the Brain-MRI report.

1)Significant Atrophy of the Superior Vermis with mild prominence of cerebellar foliae and IV the Ventricle is noted.




Impression:-Significant atrophy of the superior vermis with mild atrophy of cerebellar hemispheres.
Finding are most likely due to neuro degeneration.


Request you to please breif me in detail with all disadvantages. Is this desease is called cerebellar disorder or
cerebellar palsy? please give your valuable advice.

-just my personal, non-medical thoughts for you: could it be an indication of cerebellar ataxia? Have you been clinically examined by a neurologist? Do you have progressive, degenerating symptoms that fall in the coordination/balance/speech areas? Simple neuro tests that hone in on fine motor skills, etc. may help in narrowing down -- such as finger-nose, walking, palm flip, reflex testing, etc.

FYI - I sent you a private message with additional info re: differential diagnoses. Unfortunately, it's not possible to diagnose based on MRI results alone, I don't think -- brain disorders are complex and require other findings, in addition.
