So Confused

I really don't like this disease, the pain in my legs have been there for about 6 months, it wakes me up at night it is so bad I can't sleep, my legs have spasms, I have not had this pain before, yes the spasms, I don't walk good anyway, now it just gets worse. I can take Baclofen and Ibuprofen and that helps, do I just need to ware this out. I don't like the way steroids make me feel. I was dx the RRMS, but I have had MS for so long, since the 80's, I think I am going into SPMS. How on earth do you know. I had a neuro tell me several years ago that I was in the middle of RR and SP. I don't know, how smart does that sound, just wanting some relief. My GP took me off my cholesterol meds thinking that was making the pain worse, now I have that problem to worry about, I sound like I'm feeling sorry for myself, I really am not, just needing to talk to someone that understands. I guess I'll call my GP and tell him the pain is still there.

Aw, Poochie, I'm so sorry you are going though this, right now. I also hate this disease. It has taken so many precious moments away from me.

Talking it over with you Docs, is a good idea. Try to get a plan of action going, to treat your symptoms and to feel better.

I completely understand and we are all here to support you..:grouphug:

Don't worry about complaining Poochie! We all do it :). It usually helps to talk about the things that are bothering us and to know that we understand :hug:.

I agree with Sally (as usual :p). Talking to your doc's is a good idea. Keep taking the Baclofen and ibuprofen if that's what works for you.

I hope you get some relief soon .

i'm sorry too for what you're going thru. it's not easy to deal with things like that.

i'd talk to your dr. good advice. maybe a change in med would help.
do you have an MS specialist in your area? maybe a 2nd opinion in the MS area would give you some other answers.
 to you poochie.. hope you feel better. don't give up searching for answers. it doesn't matter what kind of MS it. just treat the symptoms.
