I have a lot of problems listening to anything too much online 'cause I'm still using an antiquated dial-up, but some things do work better than others.

I used to listen to a lot of the NPR Podcasts. I ran out of time though.

I also used to love listening to a really great Blues music channel out of Chicago but I lost that a few years ago.

Talk shows don't interest me too much. Get far too much of that imported bulldust on our television sets here as it is and the local stuff is below par that's for sure. No personal criticism intended. :icon_wink:

kxl.com takes a while to load like 10 minutes for the radio

I've given up on just about all the talk shows. The personal spin they put on everything just downright annoys me, and sometimes even sickens me.

who did you listen to?

ever try

www.gcnlive.com

health and politics

Idealist 01-13-2007 05:31 PM

No, actually I don't believe I've ever heard of that one. Is there something that makes them sound better than so many of the rest? I would really love for there to be an unbiased discussion platform that I could listen to, because I love to keep up on world events and political currents. Mostly I go and read English-language newspapers that are produced in different countries around the world, so I can get a feeling for both sides of important subjects.
