bee sting
 

I've been noticing in some posts about a bee sting 'cure'!! :rolleyes:

I don't have MS - well, I have sx similar to, and hope I don't have it, but how funny is it that all my sx started AFTER I was stung by a bee back in march!!?? lol

(Dr and Neuro says it's not related)

If I did end up having MS, then that's VERY ironic!

My PT says the numbness and tingling in my right arm is from the 'damaged' ulna nerve from the bee-sting poison being injected right on it.... ahem...
(He doesn't know what's effecting my other limbs though....)

Yeah - the bee sting therapy thing's been around for a long time.

I was working a booth at an MS150 event a few years ago - serving Pepsi and Budweiser. The bees were swarming around the pepsi containers. We hung up a sign saying "bee sting therapy booth" for giggles. Most of the volunteers had MS or knew someone with MS so we had a laugh. And had alot of explaining to do to everyone else.

Hope it's not MS.

Oh. I just remembered. When I was dx'ed, the doctor had a list of 32 things he had to dismiss first. One was an allergic reaction to a bee sting. Given it was the dead of winter in northern Ohio, I think this was one of the first things to be eliminated.
