help, please

i need to find a good cancer forum. my husband had his right kidney removed in january due to two cancerous tumors. two weeks ago, we found out from ct scans that the cancer had spread to his lungs. he is now on chemotherapy.

i desperately need to find a forum--hopefully with nice, intelligent people like those who come here--to get advice, answers, and shoulders to cry on.

thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

welcome

i have found great support on this forum. i hope you do too. my positive thoughts go out to you. i nursed my stepmom when she had cancer. my advice is keep the lines of communication open if you can. my stepmom was too proud to use a hearing aid when she was still relatively well and could get one. it was heartbreaking when her sight went too.

be aware of projectile vomiting. carry a vomit bag, towel, and water to rinse with for the chemo. get some face masks to wear in case you get a cold.

Ask your husband's doctor for sites on cancer and books on the subject. The more you learned about MS, the better off you got.
