I'm trying to find the thread that had the satelite links on it to view the Earth and it was one that could be adjusted to show cloud vapour and cyclones and all of that. Anyone remember what the thread was called? For the life of me I can't find it. Maybe it was on the Technology forum, but I thought it was here.

thanks. :)

sheesh, am I getting old or something???

Thankyou so much, Curious.

I've got my eye on some super cell sitting off the coast here. I have been complaining all week about not having a real summer this year and lo and behold, it looks as if it's not over yet!

I think I put in Earth or something and it just brought up a quote I posted once from Carl Sagan.

Yeah, will do. It's fun to watch from space. Not so fun if it turns nasty, but heck we need rain, just don't need it all at once.

posted url. didn't work.

Well, I'm a bit of a silly-billy aren't I? lol
I did search and find the right thread, but I just didn't look hard enough. Thanks curious, I see it was on the Thought for the Day thread afterall.

Just in case anyone is interested...
This cloud mass (just named Cyclone Odette - such a pretty name for a cyclone lol) is what I've been watching develop on some various satelites. :)
