I was wondering if you guys were doing ok. How much of this ice/snow do you guys have so far? So far we've been lucky. its been only sleet, and sleet does not collect on the trees and wires LOL. supposedly wave 2 is going to blow through today and then Sunday wave 3 will hit. Wave 3 is suppose to be the worse. I'm just flabbergasted at the media... good grief... you'd think the end of the world was happening... People in New York, or Boston, deal with this every year. :rolleyes: OH WELL........ Take care, and stay warm....

We were hit reasonably hard last night - No sleet, just freezing rain :eek: . -- Many of our cedars lost some limbs -- we too expect wave 2 this afternoon/tonight and wave 3 tomorrow.
Freezing rain is miserable. Sleet, snow, things like that are reasonably easy to manage but freezing rain is impossible.

Vicky - I hope your next "waves" are short and OK.... well, as "OK" as possible.

We spent so many years in North Dakota and "freezing rain" was a VERY, VERY rare weather event.

have I told you that your sweet tater pie is a hit around here? I made it for my friend and his family the other day and they loved it. Going to make it for the Alpho's when they come visit...
