New to the Board

Hello, all...

I am Bill, 41, and am having terrible burning and aching pain in my throat (just under adams apple on left side) along the collar bone, in my left jaw, trapezius and SCM. It radiates down the back of my head and neck as well. Further, some tingling and paresthesia down my arm/hand on the left side.

I am taking 800mg Ibuprofen, 300mg Nurontin, and 10mg Flexeril, with little relief thus far.

Neurologist did not know what it could be, and referred me to a pain clinic for possible botox injections, but this sounds kind of strange. I mean, if you don't know what is wrong with a patient, would you give them chemo just in case it was cancer? NO! lol

Any how, have an appointment with a Gastro doc and the GP is ordering an MRI.

Any input and thoughts, prayers, and support much appreciated. This is a wonderful board, and I am thankful I found it. :)
