Mrs D, do you think the MRI could somehow desturbed this magnetic field established around my nerves? Does this sounds cientifical?

You are not doing yourself any good by flying off the handle like you are- in your myriad of posts, lately.
You are all over these boards (8 new threads in just 2-3 days) with questions that have been previously answered, but you ignore them.

We'd love to help, but the first thing you have to do - is calm down and think ! You have to treat your symptoms, feel better..... first, then you can delve into the mystery of the causes.

You may never find the answers.
Many of us don't.
But we feel better by making sure that our symptoms are being treated properly. This can take time for the meds to adjust, and for us to adjust to the meds.
That is your first priority.

The average strength of an MRI is .5 to 2 teslas (I Tesla=10,000gauss).

The magnets I use for my pain are 10,000 gauss and they work very well. When I take them off, the effect is gone. If used regularly they can help block most of my pain. (they retrain the nerves which are firing when they shouldn't be).

The MRI is supposed to be temporary. There is no evidence it causes permanent effects. There have been millions of tests over the years. We would have heard otherwise.

Your body's field is being generated all the time ...it is not going to change when exposed to a temporary stimulus. The amount of magnetism in the body has to be minute..very small. That is because the electrical strength is very small.
Just ask yourself why your feet and legs are not affected?
Why is your brain not effected?
That is because there is no lingering effect.

When you say "you are freaking out" you remind me those doctors when they say: "your symptoms are from your head"; "you are fine"; "MRIs didn't do nothing to you";"what you need is to go to a pshiquiatrist, to forget those psycossomatic feelings"

At least I'm not the only one. I only hope these symptoms are reversible :(

There is nothing in that article that says sensory effects were permanent or existed outside of the magnetic field.

Many people experience anxiety in MRI tubes. They are told not to move, and hence stiffen their muscles. They are bound to feel strange in some ways coming out. When my MRI was done it was at the maximum of the pain I had in my right knee. I noticed more pain that day only, and it faded within a week. And I thought I WAS UNUSUAL....

You are determined in this, and I suspect you have "something" to PROVE to someone? You will be looking on the net for a long time to come at this rate.

I don't wanna prove nothing to nobody. I just want to UNDERSTAND. And after I understand I want to know if it is curable. I had a neuropathy and now, after the MRI, I have a Polineuroapathy...I'm realy said. I'm not a obsessive person....it is not my style Mrs D. I just want to know why....

Magnets from and MRI or another source DO NOT CAUSE anything but temporary sensitivity in SENSORY nerves, and that is primarily because of the strong current. You're overreacting, I think you have no idea what you're talking about. You continue to search and search, then, you'll find something that you can SOMEHOW relate to yourself and try to fit it in the some crazy puzzle.

Just like the picture of your back, it's NOTHING out of the ordinary, EVERYONE gets strange feelings here and there and aches and pains in between, that's part of having a nervous system. When you can A. Either feel hardly ANYTHING you step on or touch /or/ B. It constantly feels like you're stepping on piles of glass or grabbing glass THEN I would be worried.

Your doctor hasn't even DIAGNOSED you with ANY form of neuropathy, now all of the sudden you have Polyneuropathy? What in the world is going on here? You're NOT a doctor, you're trying to find ANY reason you can to have some kind of diagnosis.

I honestly think at this point a Somatoform Disorder could be the cause.
