Amores perros

Hi everyone!

I stumbled upon this forum by chance today. I wanted to know more about the side effects of Mestinon. For some reason I feel like I have symptoms of early menopause for some reason. There is so much info out there on the internet and a lot of the symptoms for one condition are the same as symptoms for another. I just want to speak with people who are like me or have experienced what I have experienced. I was diagnosed with Myasthenia Gravis 12 1/2 year ago and have been taking Mestinon well through my pubescent year. It ruined my childhood, along with Prednisone. I remember being a happy, vibrant and outgoing young girl until the insecurities of the disease crept into my life. Anyway, I'm here to learn from others and maybe hear what other have to say about getting older and growing with the disease. I know that it sometimes progresses with age and I live everyday in fear. If anyone could offer any advice on how to cope or their own experiences, I would greatly appreciate it.

thanks,

Hi Shadelashawn. I'm new on here too so just thought I'd say hello. I'm afraid I don't know anything about your condition, but I hope you get the help and advice you are looking for. I know what it is like to live with a chronic condition, all be it very different from yours, but I can sympathize with the effect it has on your life and no longer feeling like the vibrant, young, outgoing person you once were. (I have M.E./C.F.S.)

I hope you find some answers. Take care of yourself, and Merry Christmas :)

Welcome and I hope the forums are as helpful to you as they have been
for me.

I believe we have a forum that can help with the Myasthenia Gravis, I'm
sorry though that I don't know exactly which room to suggest. But I'm
sure one of the welcoming committee will be along soon to give you some
ideas.

Please feel free to look over all the rooms and come in and try each room.
