Cows are actually much worse for the environment, what with their expulsion of gas that affects the ozone layer.
Why doesn't the article say we should kill all the cows and stop eating beef?

Truthfully, humans are the worst leeches on the planet...we rape and pillage the earth without a thought to the consequences...and we're supposedly the smartest animal on the earth...

But I actually like humans, so they and their pets can stay!!

There are many animals whose company I prefer over some humans!

Me too, but they aren't as verbal...:) not talking about men, of course;)

Give me a break........ Politicians are the biggest source of ozone destroying hot air, etc...

We'd be soooooo much better off if my Border Collies ran the world: they're kinder, smarter, can bridge the black/white divide, have better manners, can smell out "evil doers" for a mile and don't spend all day with their head in the trough.

In 2012, support the Tartan/Haggis ticket!

Cheers

It's not pets its humans killing the planet

I agree it is humans who suck the life outa the planet. Nobody ever seems to point out in these articles that population pressure of too many human beings is what destroys our wildlife. Add to that a large number who abandon their pets and/or let them breed indescriminately and there goes our biodiversity.
